Picked up a copy of Nobow's God and Monsters illustration books. The amount of detail that is put into each individual piece of imagery is not always apparent, but having a mix of different styles the book becomes a pice of design.
The stock used must be some magic Nobrow only paper, it's a mixture of matt, with a gloss layer to give a crisp feel to the pages. What makes it ever more interesting is the colour pallet used has been limited to 2 color plus stock. This shows a massive amount of thought process, by doing this they are cost effectively saving money in order to produce a profit.
