Thirozumi

~~~~~~~
There is something particularly wonderful about the array of web safe colours on display throughout these websites in motion. The designer has carefully crafted a series of linear, almost gradient like stripes of colour which create a much more in depth back drop to the usual, plain white. What I particularly enjoy the most about these are the visually changes that occur as you scroll through the site. It's nice to see difference.
NOOG
÷
It took me a while to actually work out what 'NOOG' was all about, but after navigating across the website and randomly clicking on their selection of links. I realised that this was a site crafted for a purpose, to collect, non-materialistic virtual objects. Allowing the consumer to utilised a different approach to using man made objects as a value. The idea is incredible, and the whole layout and design of the site runs effectively against it.
Crap = Good Blog
…………
I followed Catalogue here to this website, from a conceptual development and almost a design trend, that had recently emerged. Instantly I was more impressed with the overall layout, design and format of the homepage. Basic, stripped down html run with more thought on the overall composition. Relating the work displayed, with the design aesthetic of the web design. Clean.
I remember coming across this website a while back, and automatically fell in love with the random archive of visual material. It's not a regular place to explore and showcase image work, it has a clever collection of kinetic, responsive interactive virtual spaces. That allow you to submerged in a piece of design, strictly for the internet. Wonderful.
Tauba Auerbach
Tauba Auerbach currently is one of my favourite  designers, and what supports the work produced. Is the website.  Itself, design wise effectively uses the same critical and practical skills that develop his work into final outcomes. The overall layout and navigation across the site keeps you entertained and submerged in design. Simple but effective are two words that spring to mind.
Catalogue
ø∆˚¬
Catalogue, a Leeds based design company seem to have their website contextually up to date with the constant changes in design. Their overall layout is simple, with details that separate their website from others. As you scroll down, the images of their work are clearly visible and relate to an almost tumblr like layout, as with their blog. I find this easy to navigate across to various different pages and the overall design is something I find clean and effective.
