There's nothing better than creating something with your hands. Jon Contino's logic is exactly how people should think in the creative industry. What I admire most about his work, is his direct application to creating typographic pieces of design with good old fashioned tools, the pen and pencil. Looking through his website, you can see a clear sense of his hard work paying off with well known companies. Using his own creative freedom alongside a structured brief. Something I need to work towards as an illustrator.
