Amongst some of the best tattoo artists I have seen to date, Pari Corbitt creates elegant pieces of artwork. Making other mediocre attempts of traditional styled work a thing of the past. What I like most about his paintings, is he actually incorporates his own touch to it, and not solely reviving the 'original' sailor jerry style. Something in my eyes that should be left alone. Watercolour and ink wash are something I want to practice within my own work, as it is creates a world of depth within an image, allowing the line work and details become even more exaggerated. This is a definite example of hard work, long hours and determination paying off.
