SWAROVSKI - Videos / Promotion

The videos posted below have been linked from Youtube as there wasn't much response to the brand on Vimeo. Already I feel that this is lacking as a point of creativity and audience for the company. Saying that some of the videos I have watched do have effective parts to them, mainly the narrative and visuals that have been used, but there is something they are emphasising too much on. Elegance and class. To reach a younger audience, there needs to be a more contemporary and modern approach to the overall aspect of advertising and promotion. People interact with motional movement, graphics and film everyday, in order for it to stand out. It needs reflect the current state of time.





- This video, although poorly filmed and executed. The idea surrounding the piece is effective and suitable towards the target audience, placing a Swarovski jewel on top of a scanner, allowing the light to slowly pass across reflecting a prism of patterns through the jewel.
